Curriculum Vitae
Arne Sonar has studied ‚Culture and Technology’ consecutive at Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU) Cottbus-Senftenberg. He received his B.A and M.A. degrees in 2013 and 2016. From 2015 to 2018 he worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Sustainability in Technology and Economics at the Technical University for Applied Science (OTH) Amberg-Weiden. Within the ‘GlycoRec’-project he was responsible for the accompanying research on ethical, legal and social implications. Between 2018 and 2020 he worked as a research assistant at the Technical University for Applied Science (OTH) Regensburg. Focusing on the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) and ethics he worked within the research project ‘Stakeholder Perspectives on AI-assisted Medical Decision-making and Development of Ethical Guidelines for the Use of AI-Systems in Medicine’. In September 2020 he moved to the University of Lübeck where he is part of the working group of the Ethical Innovation Hub (EIH). He is currently working in the research project ‘Cooperative and Communicating Artificial Intelligence’ (CoCoAI), where he is deepening his work on the topic of AI and its ethical and social implications.
