We just successfully published our article Removing Cardiac Artifacts From Single-Channel Respiratory Electromyograms in the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society Section of the IEEE Access journal. IEEE Access is a relatively new open access journal with very high publication standards and an impact factor of (currently) 4.098.
Our article provides a comprehensive overview and performance analysis of algorithms for removing strong cardiac interference from surface EMG measurements of the respiratory muscles.
