For his award-winning course on the "Ethics of Innovative Technology", the IME's Christian Herzog receives the Walter-Dosch Teaching Award 2017 awarded by the STEM section of the University of Lübeck.
The award is titled after the late Walter Dosch, who was an exceptionally adept lecturer at the University of Lübeck. The award is presented once each semester to a lecturer responsible for the course that scored best in the student evaluations. Christian Herzog received the award for the winter term in 2017/18, while Daniel Wessel received the prize for his course on "Gamification" for the summer term in 2017.
